Description:
Melanotan II (MT-2) is a synthetic analogue of the naturally occurring peptide hormone α-MSH (alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone). It stimulates melanocortin receptors in the body, particularly MC1-R and MC4-R, promoting melanin production (responsible for tanning), as well as enhancing libido and suppressing appetite in some users.

Originally developed for skin protection against UV damage, it is now widely used off-label for cosmetic tanning and sexual function support.
